We decided to hire a Doula as we’re new in Dubai and were looking for additional support and to help us welcome our first baby, so far from home. From the minute I met Louise I knew she was perfect for us, she is warm, positive, well connected to loads of helpful people and resources, and has been a constant source of support and help from day one.
Louise was with me at the hospital during my son’s birth. Her calming ways, encouraging words and massage was instrumental in me achieving the natural, pain-relief free birth I wanted. Since then she’s been in constant contact by message and phone call, and her post natal visits have been invaluable to me as I’ve been on my own at home. She is skilled in assisting with breastfeeding and has shown me how to bath the baby and provided so much general reassurance during this wonderful but at times challenging first couple of weeks with my new baby.
Louise is the first person I contact with any questions or concerns, her support means so much.
My husband says: Louise not only supported Helen through the labour but was there for me too. It’s the first time we’re going through this and it’s so amazing to have her there every step of the way supporting us.
