Louise provided excellent care to my wife during her labour and her personal touch made us feel supported throughout. She talked us through things to expect during birth during our antenatal appointments, and we were prepared for what might happen if my wife had to be induced. We learnt quickly that sticking to a birth plan isn’t always possible! I can only imagine that the support Louise provided to us is rare, and I feel that the health care profession needs more people like Louise. The role of a Doula is so important when you are surrounded by medics and medical jargon- she was the person who kept myself and my wife calm, fully informed and ensured our wishes were heard. Thank you Louise, for all you did for the three of us!
